Harasser: 'Kattegat is increasingly finding a method, a structure and coherent culture'
Mariano Ortega, 21th April 2022
There have some whispers about Harasser's age, the slightly misleading sense that this head coach is too young (39).
Mr. Harasser has a reputation for promoting youth and for working to a solid and defensive 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 system, but those who know him well say he will always build around what he has.
'There is much talent here', said the young coach at Nordheimkamp after today's training session, and stated that Raiders is increasingly building an important process, an integral system as a club. He also pointed out that the club is finding a method, a structure and coherent culture. Building their own work phylosophy with stubbornness, disciplined management and by insisting on their own process, which, in the long run, will be profitable for the institution.
Referring to their next match, Pizzi also spoke, and gave some words about it during the press conference: 'Although Matanga are not getting important results so far, they will play in their field, with their fans, and they have very important players in every line of the pitch. So, it will be a crucial match for both teams. We gotta be focused on doing our task and execute our plan correctly. I think we're on the right path until now'.
There have been some casualties in the Viking camp, though. Ricardo Maciel will be available for this match, but not entirely. He is just recovering from his rib injury. And the Danish midfielder, Richardt Salin, will not get to this match as he got injured in their most recent match against Ekambuna Hese (0-3).
Anyways, Harasser will get enough resources and weapons to assault his next rival in the III division, Matanga FC, on Saturday at The Walking Stadium.
Galbassini pointed out that "È stata una partita molto difficile per noi, loro sono una squadra molto forte con una difesa molto solida".
Segura, new team captain commented: "We need to keep working to get the results we want, I know we can do it better".

Harasser gave his thoughts to media on Friday at Nordheimkamp (Kattegat training ground) and said: that Raiders will face a great opponent at home, and they expect to have a good job on the field on Saturday. "We know we have a big and experimented team in front of us, but we know what we have to do to beat them. We know where our strength and our weakness lie, so we have prepared everything for this match".
On the other hand, Cordillerana will get to the Hall of the Æsir without two relevant defenders, due to red cars in last Cup match.
Alexandre Segura, Raiders Captain, also pointed out that: "I think we will get well and motivated after beating Vikingos Nordicos, on last Tuesday. We are very strong mentally, mingled with high and good vibes, because we had an excelent week so far. Our players are in excelent form, so, it will be a great match to play. We expect a good performance at home on Saturday".
Kattegat Raiders will inaugurate new stands and new capacity (51.000) when receiving Cordillerana at the Hall of the Æsir. Club management has set low prices for the tickets and by Friday they were almost sold out.

Booked: Duvblom (Carpinchos)
Referee: Safundzic (Croatia)
Attendance: 37,938
Venue: La Madriguera Stadium
La Madriguera received a huge green crowd that came to witness a new victory on their main rivals, Kattegat Raiders.
However, Gustavo Chaparro's 16th minute goal gave Raiders a 1-0 victory over Carpinchos giving the Vikings a bright start in this new season.
Kattegat's coach, F.G. Harasser, made no changes to his usual starting line-up, but after the first goal, he shuffled the pack in the 20th minute with Abdullat appearing on the pitch instead of Salin, which gave Kattegat a completely different configuration on the field playing 5-4-1 since that moment. "This changes were already planned from the very beginning in case we took the lead, we worked on it.", commented the German coach.
Carpies applied a lot of pressure in the closing stages of the match. Chilean coach J.I. Johnson threw all of his ammo on the field to make things better for the host team. And they had an opportunity, at the 76th, when Rogelio Ré tried to use his speed to get past his defender towards goal, but Maciel also showed his great reaction to reach him and avoid him from scoring.
After that, at the 85th minute, Soto was on hand to make a great challenge on Neumann, but was unable to make it count and his shot went over the bar, and all Carpinchos' last hope with it.
Later at the press conference José I. Johnson claimed that: "It was disappointing to lose but we will keep fighting. The boys did their best today, a big effort. We have strong players, a strong team, much potential and much more to give. This is only the beginning".
Gustavo Chaparro also showed up in the press conference after match, and said: "I feel really happy for this personal revenge. Last time here was very hard for me, many people pointed at me as the guilty for not winning, but I kept strong, and I knew I was going to come back here to make things different. And the team was awesome today".
What's next for both teams? Competing in the second round of the Paraguayan Cup.
In the league, next Saturday Kattegat Raiders will face Cordillerana at home, as Carpinchos will have to take a trip to Davidiano's arena to seek for their first points in the league.
The boss addressed the media at Nordheimkamp ahead of Saturday's League Matchday 1
Lena Franksdóttir. 8th April 2022
The German coach spoke to media this lunchtime at Nordheimkamp (Kattegat training ground) and commented: "Last time Raiders created a plethora of chances against Carpies side but were unable to make them count, and we were beaten at the end".
However, Kattegat, who have tied in their last visit to La Madriguera ought to be excited for Saturday's clash as they seek revenge on Goy's side for the 1-0 defeat at the Hall of the AEsir back in February 5th.
Franz-Georg Harasser also stated that: "In the end, it is all about controlling the game, controlling the midfield, not letting them play withouth pressure, because this is what the need, spaces where Goy and his companions could filter through our defense. For us, is about finding moments where we can pierce their strong defense and make the best of those situations. It is up to us to show that we can do that."
'I will always be one of you' - Suardi bids farewell to Kattegat after sealing Valhalla Rising transfer
Mariano Ortega, 4th April 2022
"Il Capitano", as he was nicknamed, took to social media to thank Kattegat fans for their support after he spent three whole seasons with the Raiders, where he commanded in 33 matches, four Carpigats, scored six times and won two IV Division titles.
"Today I depart an amazing club and I'm sailing to a new one. I'm leaving behind a wonderful group of humans".
"I gave my heart and soul for this club and I'll always cherish and remember this institution until my final days".
"The Einherjars have always supported me and respected me, and I tried to thank that respect and affection shown to me by fighting for them in every game. All my love will remain in this place with them and my friends I made here. I will always be one of you".
Three Eihenjars members (Raiders ultras), who threw three dead rats at Carpie players and some other staff members during a training sesion at the CTC (Carpinchos Training Court), have earned a fine (5,000 $) from the Kattegat Raiders Football Club.
The Club says these ultras threw the dead rodents toward two Carpie players and staff members during a training sesion at the Carpinchos del Este facilities as they were gettting ready for their friendly match of this Saturday.
"This is disgusting! Throwing the rats was an aggravating circumstance," the KRFC press manager said on Friday.
"We won't tolearate this situation, and we demand them an apologize. They need to educate their supporters", a CdE board director replied.
Carpinchos, who this last weekend retained their position in the III Division after beating their opponent in a Promotion game, will face Matanga in a new edition of the Matarpinchos derby.
Anastacio Bajac's hat-trick, along with Pizzi and Salin, gave Kattegat Raiders a 5-0 win against Yacare Valija in the Promotion Playoff clash at the Hall of the Aesir on last Saturday 26th of March.
The 18 year-old boy opened the scoring in unusual circumstances at the 14th minute after an attack coming in from the right. His shot struck the Yacare defense and deflected towards goal leaving Yacare goalkeeper B. Hai wrong-footed and stranded before crawling over the line.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Qhallalli Pizzi added an important second in the 49th minute after a left side attack ending up in an easy close-range finish.
At the 70th minute Bajac scored again when defenders lost the ball to him, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Salin increased the lead for Kattegat at the 86th minute, and one minute later Bajac scored his third of the night and 5th of the season in all competitions.
The negative aspect of the night was Suardi's injury. due to his right foot, Raffaello had no choice but leave the pitch in the 89th minute.
Yacare Valija turned in a dismal performance and will remain in the IV division in the next Season, as Raiders will keep a room for staying in the III division.
Congratulations, Kattegat!
